PENS
I am a pen and paper kind of girl. Currently, my favorite pens are TUL .7 mm medium point gel pens. I have always loved purple ink, but I like their navy and pink options too.

PAPER
I typically love traveler’s notebooks with cool covers. They have them everywhere, but I typically get them at: Barnes & Noble, Books-A-Million, Michael’s, or Hobby Lobby. I recently discovered the Denik brand and they may be my new favorite. I have a version of this medium sized lay-flat notebook:

The cool thing about Denik is that you can go to their website and customize your own notebook. You can use the artwork that they provide and just choose the style of notebook and type of pages you want, or you can go in and fully customize a notebook with your own artwork. I would love to do that one day.
SPACE
I have several spaces in and around my house where I spend time writing and working on school work. One of my favorite places is in my room. Originally, my desk was in my bedroom, but it became a dumping ground for all kinds of random papers and odds and ends. So, we rearranged and replaced the desk with this velvet futon:

I don’t use it as often as I should, but it is a nice cozy spot away from the hustle and bustle of my kids. I typically set up a wooden tv tray as a makeshift desk and then I get to work.
TECH
Speaking of hustle and bustle, I would never get anything done without these:

Apple AirPods Pro (I have the 1st Gen from a few years ago), but the noise-canceling feature on these has been a lifesaver since I have been in college. I typically listen to Pandora: Classical for Studying Radio to help me stay focused on my work.
My ultimate tool for writing AND college is my iPad. When I first went back to school I was using a laptop. It worked okay, but we are on the road a lot, so I needed a device that had access to its own internet source. The Apple Magic keyboard, along with an apple pen, a glass screen protector & this case complete my set up that I use for almost everything.

The one little extra that I could not live without is this padded Jumbeau Book Beau that I use to protect my iPad when it is in my purse. Their newer design is water resistant and actually big enough to hold the 12.9 iPad.
